Adventure Environmental, Inc. has been hard at work for more than a decade working on techniques and tools to aide in the restoration of the many varieties of seagrasses here in the Florida Keys.

We have been working with some of the best and brightest government and private marine scientists, biologists and stewards in these ground breaking methods for restoring damaged seagrass environments.  Most of our energy has been focused on restoring damaged seagrass areas where boaters have run aground and caused heavy damage but the winds of change may be blowing in a different direction for our future.

According to the United Nations Environment Programme, UNEP, seagrasses capture and sequester far more carbon than any other type of eco-system or environment. 

We all know the importance of seagrasses without this information but also knowing the importance of seagrasses ability to capture and store, mainly in the sediment and substrate, an amazing amount of carbon boosts the value of this already extremely valuable resource.
